Description:

The Bioforensics Assay Development and Diagnostics (BADD) Section, part of the Health Security and Response Division of the National Microbiology Laboratory Branch, focuses on the provision of specialized diagnostic CL-3 reference services for emerging bacterial diseases, research and development for novel bacterial detection and identification assays, and leveraging existing and new relationships to further advance response capabilities.
