Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus Detection in Mosquitoes by RT-PCR

he Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus detection panel consists of 5 to 10 samples (containing a range of viral titres) of inactivated mosquito homogenates in lysis buffer and 70% ethanol.

There is no cost to the participants.

Provincial and regional public health laboratories or hospital laboratories that provide testing for Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus in mosquito samples. These laboratories could also be from academia or from the private sector provided that they are testing on behalf of the provincial or regional public health laboratories.

Participants are assigned alphanumeric codes which anonymizes their identity.
